*There is no bus this week as Ms. Athena is on the middle school field trip.
*Tutoring has ended for the year, but the After School Program continues daily.
*Monday is a special board meeting at 4:00 pm to go over the LCAP.

* There is no school on Monday, May 26th, in observance of Memorial Day
* This Friday is the Block H field trip for students in grades 1-8
* This Friday, Ms. Sacha's class will go on a field trip to Mendocino Stone Ranch
* This Friday, we will do a reverse bus run, arriving at White Tail at 2:30, Verdant View at 2:45, and Horicon at 3:00 pm

* No hay clases el 26 de mayo por el Día de los Caídos.
* Este viernes es la excursión del Bloque H para los estudiantes de 1.º a 8.º grado.
* Este viernes, la clase de la Sra. Sacha irá de excursión a Mendocino Stone Ranch.
* Este viernes, haremos un recorrido de autobús inverso, llegando a White Tail a las 2:30 p. m., a Verdant View a las 2:45 p. m. y a Horicon a las 3:00 p. m.

The kayaking field trip that was scheduled for Thursday, May 22, has been canceled because the mouth of the river is still open. We apologize for this and will look at rescheduling.

* Tuesday, the 3/4 class will take a field trip to Stornetta Lands.
* The 5/6 class will take a field trip to kayak on Thursday.
* There is no school on Friday, May 23, as it is an unused storm day. Enjoy the three-week weekend!

Here's the update for the week of May 12th:
* This week, the 7th and 8th grade class will have state testing. Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a hearty breakfast so they can perform their best.
* The monthly site council meeting is on Monday at 3 pm in the library.
* The monthly board meeting is on Monday, with open session beginning at 4:30 pm.
* Friday, Ms. Sacha's class will go on a field trip to the beach.

* Friday is the Rotary Luncheon at Point Arena High School for our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who have been nominated for this prestigious academic award.

Please ensure your child gets plenty of sleep and a hearty breakfast so they can perform at their best. * Information was sent home last week regarding our one-week summer school program, taking place from June 23-27. All children must pre-register by May 2nd. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or email us. * On Wednesday, April 30, the TK/K class will take a field trip to Ms. Sacha's house to collect chicken eggs for their incubator. * Parents, please remember that toys from home, including stuffed animals, are not allowed at school. * We hope you all had a restful and joyful spring break! As we return to school, we're excited to finish the year strong together.
* The after-school program and tutoring continue this week.
* This Thursday, all 5th and 7th graders will take their end-of-year fitness test, which includes running a mile. Please ensure your child wears proper footwear for PE.
* There will be no afternoon bus on Friday, April 25th.
