Here's the update for the week of February 9th:
* Thank you to all of the parents who attended the field trip to the Warm Springs Hatchery. We appreciated your help in ensuring a smooth field trip for all students.
* There will be no bus the week after Presidents' Week, because of required bus driver training. There will be a bus this week. This is just an advanced notice that there will be no bus the week of February 23rd-27th.

* No habrá servicio de autobús la semana posterior a la Semana de los Presidentes, debido a la capacitación obligatoria de los conductores. Esta semana sí habrá autobús. Este es solo un aviso anticipado de que no habrá servicio de autobús la semana del 23 al 27 de febrero.

* This Monday, February 2, is the monthly board meeting with open session beginning at 4:30.
* This Friday is the all-school field trip to Warm Springs Fish Hatchery. We will be leaving promptly at 8:30 am. All attendees must wear closed-toe shoes.

* Here's the update for the week of January 26th:
* There are no major announcements to share this week, but I did want to take a moment to share some really positive news. As I’ve been reviewing our mid-year assessment data, it's been truly exciting to see the growth our students are making across grade levels. Their progress reflects the hard work of our students, our dedicated teachers, and the strong partnership we share with families.
* We’re also looking forward to an upcoming highlight for our school! Permission slips for our all-school field trip to the Warm Springs Hatchery will be going home on Monday. The field trip will take place on Friday, February 6, and we are very excited for this special learning experience for all of our students. Please keep an eye out for the permission slip and return it as soon as possible.

* Aquí les presentamos la actualización de la semana del 26 de enero:
* No hay anuncios importantes que compartir esta semana, pero quería compartirles algunas noticias muy positivas. Al revisar los datos de las evaluaciones de mitad de año, me ha entusiasmado mucho ver el progreso que nuestros estudiantes están logrando en todos los grados. Su progreso refleja el arduo trabajo de nuestros estudiantes, la dedicación de nuestros maestros y la sólida colaboración que compartimos con las familias.

Here's the update for the week of January 19th:
* This week, there is school for students on Tuesday and Wednesday only.
* There is no school on Monday, January 19th, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We observe this day to honor Dr. King’s legacy of justice, equality, and peaceful action, and to reflect on how we can treat one another with kindness, courage, and respect in our school and community.
* There is no school on Thursday for staff professional development day.
* There is no school on Friday as it is an unused storm day.

* This is the week of the winter performance! On Thursday, at 6 pm, all students will perform in the cafetorium. Please make sure your student arrives by 5:30 at the latest and is ready to perform.
* Friday is early dismissal at 12:20 pm.
* This is the last week of school for 2025! We want to thank everyone for an amazing year and can’t wait to make even more memories in 2026. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a fantastic new year!

* Thank you to all the families who attended parent-teacher conferences. Your partnership and engagement help strengthen the relationships that support student success.
* There will be no bus on Wednesday, December 3rd.
* Please continue sending students to school ready for colder weather- layers and jackets make outdoor time a lot more comfortable.
* If your student needs support- academically, socially, or emotionally- don't hesitate to reach out. We’re here and want to help.
