Horicon School is hiring a Special Education teacher and a 5/6 classroom teacher for the 2026/2027 school year.
Here's the update for the week of March 16th:
* There will be no morning and afternoon bus on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week because of required bus driver training.
* On Friday, Ms. Hook's 1st and 2nd grade class and Ms. Ashton's 3rd and 4th grade class will go on a field trip to Star Cross to observe native plant and animal species.
* Next year’s school calendar will be sent home this week. By providing it early, we encourage families to schedule trips, appointments, and other events outside of school days whenever possible to help students avoid missing valuable learning time.

Aquí tienen la actualización para la semana del 16 de marzo:
* No habrá servicio de autobús (ni matutino ni vespertino) el martes, el miércoles y el jueves de esta semana, debido a una capacitación obligatoria para los conductores de autobús.

This morning, we initiated a Code Black at school after a nearby farmer reportedly fired a gun into the air. Students and staff were never at risk, and the Code Black was conducted as a precaution to ensure everyone’s safety. Thank you for your understanding as we take every measure to keep our school community safe.

* Thank you to all of the parents who attended the field trip to the Warm Springs Hatchery. We appreciated your help in ensuring a smooth field trip for all students.
* There will be no bus the week after Presidents' Week, because of required bus driver training. There will be a bus this week. This is just an advanced notice that there will be no bus the week of February 23rd-27th.
