Hello Horicon Famliies, Here's the update for the week of June 9th: * The After-School Program runs daily until 4:00 pm. * Monday is the monthly site council meeting at 3:00 pm. *Monday is the monthly board meeting, with open session beginning at 4:30 pm. * Tuesday, at 12:40, is the TK/K graduation in Ms. Sacha's classroom. * Tuesday, at 6:00 pm, is 8th grade graduation in the cafetorium. * Wednesday is the last day of school. At 8:30, we will have End-Of-Year Awards for all students in the cafetorium, followed by field day, starting at 10:00 am. Dismissal is 12:20 pm . * Thank you all for a wonderful 2024-2025 school year. We are proud of everyone's growth and all of the memories that have been created. We look forward to seeing you for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 20th. * Have a fantastic summer, everyone! Hola familias de Horicon, Aquí les presentamos las novedades de la semana del 9 de junio: * El programa extraescolar funciona todos los días hasta las 4:00 p. m. * El lunes es la reunión mensual del consejo escolar a las 3:00 p. m. * El lunes es la reunión mensual de la junta directiva, con sesión abierta a las 4:30 p. m. * El martes, a las 12:40 p. m., se celebra la graduación de TK/K en el aula de la Sra. Tomorrow for breakfast we will have: waffles and pancakes instead of French toast and lunch will be a turkey pesto wrap. Mañana para el desayuno tendremos: waffles y panqueques en lugar de tostadas francesas y el almuerzo será un wrap de pavo con pesto.

Hello Horicon Families, Here's the update for the week of June 2: *There is no bus this week as Ms. Athena is on the middle school field trip. *Tutoring has ended for the year, but the After School Program continues daily. *Monday is a special board meeting at 4:00 pm to go over the LCAP. Hello Horicon Families, Here's the update for the week of May 26th: * There is no school on Monday, May 26th, in observance of Memorial Day * This Friday is the Block H field trip for students in grades 1-8 * This Friday, Ms. Sacha's class will go on a field trip to Mendocino Stone Ranch * This Friday, we will do a reverse bus run, arriving at White Tail at 2:30, Verdant View at 2:45, and Horicon at 3:00 pm Have a wonderful week, Horicon Hornets! The kayaking field trip that was scheduled for Thursday, May 22, has been canceled because the mouth of the river is still open. We apologize for this and will look at rescheduling. Hello Families, Here's the update for the week of May 19th: * Tuesday, the 3/4 class will take a field trip to Stornetta Lands. * The 5/6 class will take a field trip to kayak on Thursday. * There is no school on Friday, May 23, as it is an unused storm day. Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a hearty breakfast so they can perform their best. * The monthly site council meeting is on Monday at 3 pm in the library. * The monthly board meeting is on Monday, with open session beginning at 4:30 pm. * Friday, Ms. Sacha's class will go on a field trip to the beach. Let’s show our incredible staff how much we value and appreciate all they do. * Friday is the Rotary Luncheon at Point Arena High School for our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who have been nominated for this prestigious academic award. * Have a wonderful week, Horicon Hornets!
