The Discovery Fair shopping begins today. The link below will allow you to see what exciting things the fair has to offer. It also has a link to set up a eWallet for your students so they don't need to bring money to school. Please note purchases will begin on Wednesday evening at our Showcase for Learning. Students will also be allowed to purchase Thursday and Friday at the 10am recess. We are excited to be offering a wonderful showcase full of STEAM based learning kits.

Here's the update for the week of April 13th:
* Monday is the monthly site council meeting at 3:15 in the library.
* Monday is the monthly board meeting, with open session beginning at 5:00 pm.
* Wednesday is our Showcase of Learning. From 5:30-6:30, come see what your children have been working on and learning.
* This week is also the Scholastic Book Fair. Students will be able to purchase books on Wednesday, from 6:00-7:00 pm.
* On Friday, Ms. Hook's first and second-grade class will be going on a field trip to Starcross.

Here's the update for the week of April 6th:
* On Tuesday, April 7th, there will be a Middle School Planning Meeting from 3:30-5:00 pm in Ms. Ruegg's classroom.
* On Friday, Ms. Ashton's 3rd and 4th grade class will go on a field trip to the Exploratorium in San Francisco. They will be leaving at 7AM and returning around 5:30 PM. 3rd and 4th graders attending the trip, please be at the White Tail bus stop or at the Horicon school site no later than 7AM . Regular bus times are the same for all other classes attending a regular school day.

* On Friday, Ms. Hook's 1st and 2nd grade class and Ms. Ashton's 3rd and 4th grade class will go on a field trip to Star Cross to observe native plant and animal species.
* Next year’s school calendar will be sent home this week. By providing it early, we encourage families to schedule trips, appointments, and other events outside of school days whenever possible to help students avoid missing valuable learning time.
